Club Information

The St. Louis Admirals R/C Model Boat Club is an organization with the sole purpose of sharing and teaching others the joy of radio-controlled model boats. These models have most of the same controls that you would have if you were aboard the full-sized vessel. They include variable forward and reverse speed control, steering and sail control for the sailboats.

We are looking for you if you are interested in radio-controlled electric, steam, sail or solar powered model boats (sorry, no gas or diesel powered boats).

The knowledge that we have acquired from buying, building, installing R/C and operating the finished model are only a few of the assets that we offer to new members of the club.



Club Dues

Club dues are $30 per year. This entitles you to full benefits and equal say in club meetings. We also provide a newsletter (hard copy please add $10.00 to the dues) that will keep you up to date on club activities, new products, etc.

The club meetings are at 7:00pm on the first Wednesday of the month at Old Saint Ferdinand Shrine, 1 Saint Francois Street, Florissant MO 63031. Prior to the club meetings, members are welcome to get together for 5:00 PM dinner at Hendel's Restaurant, 599 Saint Denis St, Florissant, MO 63031. It is close to our sailing pond at St. Ferdinand Park.(See maps below)

 

 Spring Regatta 2021 - CANCELLED Watson Trail Park, Sunset Hills, MO

Registration starts at 0900 hours (9:00 a.m.) until noon Saturday.   The fun will begin at 10:00 a.m., last all day.  Awards will be presented at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.    On Sunday, we will start at 1000 hours (10:00 a.m. until 1400 hours (2:00 p.m.).
