Modified Dumas Kit. Most of the wood was replaced and details such as crane and other deck fittings added, stanchions,
spotlights and fittings were scratch made from brass. Wheelhouse is lighted and detailed with figures (sailors);
crane house is modified with skylights, operator and crane controls.

He hasn't been building for very long but his models are a treat to see on and off the water. This boat was small enough to
run on a very small pond inside a mall.

Pete scratchbuilt this Voith-Schneider powered model from scratch. It is based on a set of plans drawn by James Pottinger
of the Voith-Schneider tug
Tirrick.
Tirrick is owned and operated by Shetland Towage Ltd. and is rated at
45 tonnes bollard pull. Shetland Towage Ltd. provides harbor towage services at the Sullom Voe Oil Terminal, Europe's
largest oil and gas port. The plans were originally obtained from Taubman Plans
